Cand iei pentru prima data contact cu aceste fotografii ale suedezei Moa Karlberg, devii automat conectat cu subiectul. Ai senzatia stanjenitoare ca oamenii din imagini te privesc mandru, nemilos, sfidator sau sfredelitor.

Partea amuzanta e ca respectivii isi privesc imaginea reflectata intr-o oglinda. Kalberg a realizat portretele din spatele unei oglinzi duble, astfel ca oamenii habar nu au ca au fost fotografiati.

“Since the pictures are taken in public spaces, I can publish them however I want to. At least in Sweden, where the laws are generous to journalists and artists. But in which forums and publications does the single individual feel insulted? Watching you watch me is an effort to create a debate on the laws and ethics within the photographer’s role.” – Moa Karlberg
